In your role as HR Generalist, you will serve as a key member of the 'ike HR Foundational Services team with a focus on recruiting, onboarding, and talent optimization for the family of companies. This position contributes in the following ways:


  • Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning, including developing customized search plans.
  • Create job postings and provide market salary analysis.
  • Fill positions, including screening applicants, coordinating interview teams, reference checks, and extending offers including compensation negotiation.
  • Maximize utilization of the Predictive Index (PI) tool in the recruiting process to better ensure job match.
  • Develop and execute coordinated recruiting plan, including social media, for the family of companies.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with various sources, including attending career fairs.
  • Establish a pipeline of talent.
  • Manage employee referral program.
  • Establish and track recruiting metrics.
  • Manage eOnboarding system and process, including coordinating pre-employment background checks and drug screens.
  • Ensure employees receive the gift of a good start with the family of companies.
  • Conduct new hire orientations.
  • Facilitate quarterly new hire events.
  • In partnership with HR Managers, guide managers and employees in better working together utilizing the PI.
  • Create and deliver customized in-house PI training to increase understanding of workplace behaviors that impact employee productivity.
  • Manage vendor relationships. Stay abreast of product/system enhancements and ensure maximum utilization of tools.
  • Support the HR team with both operational functions, as well as key HR initiatives and projects.

 

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field; PHR or SHRM – CP certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of HR generalist experience, particularly in the area of talent acquisition.
  • Strong computer skills with an ability to quickly learn new tools. Experience with Efficient Hire ATS and eOnboarding systems a plus. Curiosity that enables quick learning.
  • Demonstrated success with employee engagement and training initiative. Familiarity with Predictive Index platform ideal.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and practices.
  • Persuasive, motivating communicator.
  • Inspired self-starter who can work independently in a hectic environment and loves a challenge. Maintain focus and an eye on the details in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
  • High level of integrity when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
