In your role as the Project Manager, you will be responsible for high quality deliverables on-time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction. The Project Manager initiates, plans and executes projects by developing a cohesive team of resources, defining the scope of work, forecasting the schedule and defining the budget. The Project Manager is also responsible for risk analysis, contract management and stakeholder communications. We are looking for someone to achieve this while in alignment with company vision, strategy and financial goals.

 

This position will contribute in the following ways:

Project Management:

  • Project initiation, gathering requirements, writing specifications, planning and execution
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders from both the client, project team members, and upper management
  • Gather requirements to be assembled into user stories, participate in solution design and create documentation necessary to support project development
  • Anticipate project bottlenecks, manage risks and escalate appropriately, while balancing the business versus technical constraints
  • Reviews and defines project requirements to ensure they are in line with business objectives
  • Creates and executes test plans to ensure that the functional and business requirements are met by the proposed solution
  • Translates operational and software functions/features into process driven user-friendly materials to support the implementation and training for projects
  • Manage multiple projects at a time
  • Translates user requirements into software requirements that can be used to develop software
  • Works with stakeholders to ensure business processes and requirements are properly represented in the development and/or maintenance of software and/or system/application architecture
  • Provide excellent service working with clients and integration partners (e.g. labs, EHR vendors, etc.).

Continuous Improvement:

  • Document and understand current as-is processes, perform detailed gap analysis, and collaborate with subject matter experts to collaboratively design desired process improvements
  • Performs analysis and documents business processes leading to process change and/or system implementation
  • Documents and defines processes, eliminating activities that don't add value and straightening out the flow of the activities
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Project Management Professional Certification preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma green belt preferred
  • 2-4+ years IT industry experience preferred
  • Experience working with Practice Management Systems (PMS), Electronic Health Record (EHR) application(s), and application integrations preferred
  • Good understanding of SDLC and software development
  • Knowledge of application testing and ability to design, plan, and execute application testing strategies. 
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and make them easily understandable using text and visual aids.
  • Very strong oral and written communication skills required.
  • Strong presentation, communication and relationship building skills
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated customer focus with a high sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
  • Ability to strategically approach projects to set up future project opportunities that adds value for our clients
