As the RCM Business Manager, you are responsible for the strategic management and overall performance of your client's RCM operations. Success in this position will be evidenced by strong client relationships, improved revenue cycle measures and financial benefit and a commitment to compliance and quality. You will manage process improvement activities to assure a best in class experience, while growing and maintaining key relationships across a matrixed business division.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties


  • Provides client with front office workflow recommendations
  • Advises client on cash flow projections and practice trends
  • Performs in-depth analysis related to the revenue cycle. Must be able to explain this analysis to non-technical audience that includes internal and external customers and Executive management
  • Develops key performance indicators and financial reports for forecasting and trending
  • Monitors revenue cycle data against regional and national benchmarks

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serves as client main point of contact for all RCM functions
  • Maintains high level of client satisfaction through effective communication, education and understanding of clients' needs/issues
  • Independently prepares and facilitates monthly/quarterly meetings
  • Establishes and maintains payer relationships
  • Reviews client's special report requests (requirements) generates reports if appropriate

Account Management:

  • Responsible for client performance objectives through overall management of all RCM functions
  • Identifies, implements and manages best practices to improve client's RCM performance
  • Manages and maintains communication with Access Health for efficient and timely performance standards
  • Provides resolution for all issues and/or acts as liaison for the client with other departments
  • Works with implementation leads to ensure smooth transition of new and terminated clients
  • Safeguard company data by ensuring confidentiality is maintained and data security and HIPPA standards are achieved

 Desired Qualifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • College or University degree preferred
  • 5+ years of physician medical billing management experience a plus
  • Demonstrated effective and audience appropriate communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Must be motivated and be a self-starter
  • Able to multitask and manage stressful situations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to exercise good judgment and discretion
  • Understanding of pertinent regulatory guidelines such as HIPPA
  • Customer service focus
  • Intermediate to advanced level MS Excel skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications; Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
