We are seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst (RCA) to join our team. As the Revenue Cycle Analyst, you will utilize your excellent organizational and analytical skills to provide support to the RCM Operations Department. If you are detailed-oriented, enjoy problem solving, like working in a face-paced office environment and appreciate the flexibility of working in teams or independently, we are looking for you! The RCA is responsible for the overall success of revenue performance, analyzing financial data to identify practice trends, forecasts, and areas of improvement, as well as application support for database maintenance. As an effective RCA, you seek to achieve operational excellence within each account, building a story along the way.


Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Review and analyze RCM reports including standard monthly financial and account reports.
  • Monitor month-end processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness, helping to resolve any issues that arise.
  • Review and analyze claim activity, utilizing practice management software and advising on suggestions to improve submission of "clean claims".
  • Routinely monitor assigned accounts and notify appropriate team of trends, revolving issues, and/or lack of activity.
  • Identify variances in client's account and presenting feedback/solutions on findings.
  • Required to attend mandatory training (g. HIPAA, Personal Development, etc.) as assigned.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Required Education, Experience and Skills

  • Embodies TeamPraxis' cultural anchors: Healthy, Humble, Hungry, and Ability to Execute.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 3+ years managed services or health care experience.
  • Proficient in MS Suite of Apps.
  • Excellent typing and 10-key skills.
  • Understanding of pertinent regulatory guidelines such as HIPAA.
  • Demonstrates internal customer service focus.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrates the following abilities and attributes: Accountability and dependability, strong problem solving and decision-making skills, self-development, high attention to detail and quality of work, adaptable and flexible.
  • Capable of training new staff if the TeamPraxis trainer is unavailable. Provide tips on how to improve workflow and identify when there is a need for additional training.
  • Physical requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Work schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday-Friday (Flex schedule available upon manager approval).
